The system provides alternating current of max. 30 A with a no-load voltage. of 12 V and is used to test protective conductor connections on suspended railways (continuity measurement). The test current is supplied via compare a comparator card with a fixed threshold value. If the measured value is above the threshold value, a good message is issued. An external voltage of 24V DC is required for control. The start of a test is via the START button or by connecting 24VDC externally. For self-testing, a test resistor is built in.
